On May 18, 2024, the 30th-anniversary celebration of Beijing Huatai Law Firm was successfully held at the National Convention Center. More than 300 guests, including Zhao Zemin, Chief Partner of Huatai’s headquarters and Chairman of the National Network of Branch Offices; partners and lawyer representatives from the headquarters and its nationwide branches; as well as invited guests, gathered together to celebrate this milestone and jointly commemorate Beijing Huatai Law Firm’s remarkable three-decade journey.
This celebratory event will be hosted by Wu Yewei, a host from Beijing Television.
At the beginning of the celebratory event, Zhao Zemin, Chief Partner of Beijing Huatai Law Firm and Chairman of the National Network of Branch Offices, delivered the opening remarks. First, Director Zhao extended a heartfelt welcome to the distinguished guests attending the occasion. He then took everyone on a journey through Huatai's remarkable 30-year history, highlighting seven key themes that encapsulated the firm's resilience and growth over the decades. Expressing gratitude for the dedicated efforts of every Huatai colleague, Director Zhao concluded by urging all Huatai members to carry forward the pride and unwavering determination that have defined the firm throughout its illustrious three-decade journey—and to embark together on an exciting new chapter ahead.

After Director Zhao delivered his opening remarks, a congratulatory video from guests who couldn’t attend the event was played.
Following the event, Yan Shuqing, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, and Chang Xiaoyi, Co-Chairman of the National Network Meeting of Huatai Offices, delivered speeches one after another at the celebration. They summarized Huatai's party-building efforts and the strategic planning for branch management, respectively, and jointly celebrated the 30th anniversary of Huatai's establishment.

After the opening remarks, Huo Mingliang, Director of Business at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, introduced the establishment of the specialized committees and the research institute, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Representatives from the firm’s headquarters and its various branches officially unveiled the plaques for the nine specialized committees and the research institute. This milestone marks a solid step forward for Huatai Law Firm as it advances toward providing more professional and sophisticated legal services across the nation.

Lawyer Wang Haidong unveiled the Financial and Capital Markets Legal Professional Committee, Lawyer Wang Wenjie unveiled the Criminal Law Professional Committee, Lawyer Dong Sixiao unveiled the Government and Public Service Professional Committee, Lawyer Fan Yuqiang unveiled the Intellectual Property Professional Committee, and Lawyer Chen Rong unveiled the Civil and Commercial Law Professional Committee.
Attorney Lu Di unveiled the plaque on behalf of the International Legal Affairs Professional Committee, while Attorney Liu Xuezhi (from the Zhengzhou Branch) unveiled the plaque for the Non-Performing Asset Disposal and Bankruptcy Professional Committee. Attorney Wu Jingtang (from the Dalian Branch) represented the company’s legal affairs committee in unveiling its plaque, followed by Attorney Zhao Weichen (from the Guangzhou Branch), who unveiled the plaque for the Environment and Resources Professional Committee. Lastly, Attorney Li Hongwei (from the Zhengzhou Branch) unveiled the plaque for the Institute. Following the unveiling ceremony, the recognition segment of Huatai’s 30th-anniversary celebration commenced. Awards were presented in the following order: the Founding Merit Award, the Dedication Excellence Award, the Outstanding Contribution Award, the Era Dedication Award, the Social Responsibility Award, the Pioneer Party Member Award, the Administrative Excellence Award, the Rising Star Lawyer Award, the Outstanding Branch Award, and the Best Lawyers from Each Branch Award.

Sun Yadong, Supervisor of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, and Tian Mu, Administrative Director, presented the Era Dedication Awards to Jin Yao, Zhang Xuan, Sun Qingjun, Zhao Cunting, Liu Zhendong, Bao Chunling, Qin Hanzhe, and Li Jianwei.
Wang Yusheng, Deputy Director of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, presented the Social Responsibility Award to Wang Tianren, Yan Lin, Zhang Zhitao, Zhang Kaipu, Qin Xiaoyong, Qian Fang, Zhang Songlei, and Liu Lixin.
Yan Shuqing, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, and Liu Jianguo, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, presented the Pioneer Party Member Awards to Xie Zhihua, Liu Yongxiang, Du Xiaomei, Guo Guangping, Yuan Kun, Zhang Meiguang, Wang Lisha, and Chen Wen.
Zhao Zemin, Chief Partner of Beijing Huatai Law Firm and Chairman of the National Branches Joint Conference, presented the Meritorious Administrative Award to Tian Mu and Ren Jizheng.
Sarina, Deputy Director of the Management Committee at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, and Huo Mingliang, Head of Business Development, presented the Rising Star Lawyer Awards to Zhang Xin, Lei Sai, Wang Pei, Zhu Biying, Zhao Jinlong, Liu Jing, Bai Xue, and Zhang Yajie.
Zhao Zemin, Chief Partner of Beijing Huatai Law Firm and Chairman of the National Network of Branch Offices, presented the Outstanding Branch Office Award to the six branch offices located in Zhengzhou, Nanning, Hangzhou, Dalian, Lhasa, and Xicheng.
Chang Xiaoyi, Co-Chairman of the Huatai National Branch Meeting, presented the Outstanding Lawyer Awards of the branch to Xu Jingwei, Yang Yinzhang, Ju Wanju, Li Hong, Yang Shuqi, Luo Ronghua, Yu Wanyin, Wang Xirong, Zhou Junyan, and Liu Yuanqi. Meanwhile, Liu Xuezhi, Vice Chairman of the Huatai National Branch Meeting, along with Executive Directors Zhao Cunting and Zhang Yuhong, honored An Xuefeng, Zhao Xinye, Meng Lingxin, Xia Xue, Liu Yuwen, Liu Zhongxiao, Nie Min, Cao Yafeng, Cheng Hao, Wang Jing, Chen Xueqian, Xiao Li, Zhang Zhanbin, Wu Chengling, Jiang Yao, Wang Pengjie, Liu Hongbao, Wang Meng, Dou Hongyin, Wang Yingwei, and Zhang Jiangbo with the same prestigious award. Additionally, several other outstanding lawyers from the branch were unable to attend the celebration event in person. They include Sun Yifan, Zhou Jiawu, Luo Jing, Gong Zhichao, Zhu Liangyong, Zhao Shizhen, Wang Ru, Li Hui, Ye Zhengquan, Xing Yiming, Niu Xiaomei, and Xue Chao. After the awards ceremony concluded, hosts Zhang Xin and lawyer Jin Chunying took the stage to lead the dinner segment. To kick off the evening, Director Zhao Zemin delivered a heartfelt toast. As the banquet began, an engaging cultural performance followed, starting with lawyer He Wei singing the song "Reeds," accompanied by her original composition, "Reporting Peace Across a Thousand Miles."
The performance ended, and the commemorative prize for this celebratory event—Russian handcrafted Matryoshka dolls—was drawn.
Following this, attorneys Sajina, Qin Wei, Du Guo, and Zhu Yan presented the recitation piece titled "Thirty Years of Huatai Law Firm: A Glorious Journey on the Path of Rule of Law." After the recitation concluded, the third-place prize—a custom-made Ru ware porcelain cup from Huatai—was drawn during the celebration event. Afterwards, lawyer Zhou Hailiang from the Zhengzhou branch delivered a mesmerizing Tai Chi performance.
After the Tai Chi performance, the second-prize winner of this celebratory event—HuaTai’s custom Ru ware porcelain cup—was drawn.
Following this, Fan Shengqi delivered a wonderful saxophone performance of "Me and My Motherland." After the saxophone act, the first-prize winner of this celebratory event—Huatai custom-made watches—was drawn. To conclude the performances, Li Wenyao, an attorney from the Fangshan Branch Office, took the stage to sing the song "Run."
A vibrant array of performances and thrilling prize draws took turns throughout the evening, propelling the banquet atmosphere to a lively crescendo. Guests clinked glasses and exchanged heartfelt toasts, as Huatai family members shared deep emotions, fostered mutual understanding, envisioned grand visions, and embarked on a new chapter together. Amidst laughter and joyful conversations, everyone came together to celebrate Huatai’s 30th anniversary with boundless enthusiasm.
