The 2024 Annual Meeting of Beijing Huatai Law Firm and the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Beijing Huatai (Shanghai) Law Firm were successfully held.

On February 28, 2025, the 2024 Annual Meeting of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, along with the 20th-anniversary celebration of Beijing Huatai (Shanghai) Law Firm, was successfully held at the Liangma River Hotel. Attendees included Zhao Zemin, Chief Partner of Huatai’s headquarters and Chairman of the National Branches Joint Conference; Wang Yusheng, Deputy Director of the headquarters; Yan Shuqing, Secretary of Huatai’s Party Committee; Chang Xiaoyi, Executive Chairman of the National Branches Joint Conference; Chen Jinshui, Vice Chairman; members of the headquarters’ Management Committee; Xu Jingwei, Director of the Shanghai Branch; Yang Zhangyin, Director of the Hangzhou Branch; Wang Xirong, Director of the Tianjin Branch; Wu Jingtang, Director of the Dalian Branch; Zhao Cunting, Director of the Haikou Branch; Zhang Xijun, Director of the Shijiazhuang Branch; Wang Wenjie, Director of the Changsha Branch; Ju Wanju, Director of the Kunming Branch; Gao Xiaomin, Administrative Director of the Xi’an Branch; Du Juanjuan, Administrative Director of the Nanjing Branch; Zhang Qi, Administrative Director of the Hefei Branch; as well as directors from local branches, all staff from the headquarters, and representatives from other branches—everyone came together to celebrate the annual meeting of the headquarters and the 20th anniversary of the Shanghai Branch. Before the meeting began, all attendees signed in at the check-in wall and received their welcome gifts. This meeting was chaired by Huo Mingliang, Deputy Director of the Huatai Head Office Committee and Dean of the Research Institute.

At the outset of the meeting, Director Zhao Zemin, Chief Partner of Huatai Head Office and Chairman of the National Branch Network Joint Conference, delivered a speech. Director Zhao summarized 2024 and shared his vision for 2025, emphasizing two key areas to guide Huatai's future development: deepening collaborative synergy by leveraging the Head Office as a vital link to facilitate seamless resource sharing and build integrated nationwide services; and embracing technological advancements to accelerate the construction of a "smart law firm."

Subsequently, Wang Yusheng, Deputy Director of Huatai Head Office, delivered the 2024 Annual Work Report. Deputy Director Wang Yusheng summarized progress across three key areas: business development, talent team building, and brand enhancement. As a result, Huatai has achieved steady yet positive growth momentum.

      Yan Shuqing, Secretary of the Huatai Party Branch, delivered the Party Branch Work Report at the celebration event, summarizing Huatai's efforts in Party building and extending congratulations on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Branch Office.

Yan Shuqing, Secretary of the General Party Branch at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, then presented awards to Sarina, Xie Zhihua, Zhao Jinlong, Yuan Kun, Zhang Meiguang, Du Hanpeng, Chen Wen, Wu Guofang, Suo Zhiqiang, and Zhang Wenxiao.

      Meng Rong, Founding Partner of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, read out the 2024 Outstanding Contribution Award recognition documents, and Wang Yusheng, Deputy Director of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, presented awards to Liu Jianguo, Zhu Yun, Chen Rong, Fan Yuqiang, Zhang Jian, Dong Sixiao, Huang Futao, Liu Junwei, Li Muran, and Shi Wanjun.

      Wang Haidong, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Director of the Financial and Capital Markets Legal Professional Committee at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, read out the commendation documents recognizing the outstanding pro bono lawyers of 2024. Chang Xiaoyi, Co-Chair of the Huatai National Branches Joint Conference, then presented awards to Zhang Lei, Yang Lihong, Yan Lin, Wang Liping, Liu Zifei, Zeng Xiangcheng, Wang Huan, Yu Tingting, and Wang Lisha.

      Yan Shuqing, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, read out the list of outstanding female lawyers for 2024, while Huo Mingliang, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Dean of the Research Institute at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, presented awards to Feng Xiaomi, Liu Lixin, Xia Xue, Wang Pei, Du Xiaomei, Zhu Biying, Jin Chunying, and Xiang Ai Qin.

     Zhang Zhitao, Deputy Supervisor of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, read out the list of outstanding young lawyers for 2024. Gao Yunpeng, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Director of the Corporate Legal Affairs Committee at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, and Liu Xuekui, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Director of the Criminal Legal Affairs Professional Committee, presented awards to Zhang Xin, Lu Di, Lei Sai, Liu Jing, Chen Yafan, Yu Yunhua, Jian Yuxin, Zhang Yajie, Zhang Yan, and Cui Haodi.

   Xie Zhihua, Member of the Management Committee and Deputy Director of the Government and Social Public Service Professional Committee at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, read out the list of outstanding intern lawyers for 2024. Zhang Zufeng, Deputy Director of the Beijing Huatai Law Firm Management Committee, along with Xu Jingwei, Director of the Shanghai Branch, Arbitrator at the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, and Arbitrator at the China Maritime Arbitration Commission, presented awards to Wang Hui, Feng Wuying, He Tingting, Li Chenghu, Ma Lei, Lin Hao, Xiao Ying, Feng Kai, Zhao Youyou, and Wang Haijuan.

     Ren Jizheng, Deputy Head of Administration at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, read out the 2024 Administrative Management Award announcement, and Tian Mu, Administrative Director of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, presented awards to He Xinran, Song Chunfeng, and Zhang Xiaolei.

      Sun Yadong, Supervisor of Beijing Huatai Law Firm, read out the commendation documents for the Outstanding Professional Committees of 2024, and Director Zhao Zemin, Chief Partner of Beijing Huatai Law Firm and Chairman of the National Branches Joint Conference, presented the awards.

Most Influential: The Criminal Law Professional Committee and the Non-Performing Assets Disposal & Bankruptcy Professional Committee; Most Leading: The Financial & Capital Markets Law Professional Committee; Most Cohesive: The Corporate Legal Affairs Committee and the International Legal Affairs Professional Committee.

After the awards ceremony, Wang Haidong, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Director of the Financial & Capital Markets Legal Professional Committee at Beijing Huatai Law Firm, delivered a speech on financial business development and innovation.

Subsequently, hosts Zhang Xin and lawyer Jin Chunying took the stage to lead the dinner session. First, Director Zhao Zemin delivered the toast.

The raffle session interspersed throughout the dinner brought the meeting to a thrilling climax.

      The participation prizes were drawn by Gao Xianmin, Administrative Director of the Xi'an Branch, and Zhang Qi, Administrative Director of the Hefei Branch.

      The third prize was drawn by Zhang Xijun, Director of the Shijiazhuang Branch Office.

      The second-prize winners were selected by Zhao Cunting, Director of the Haikou Branch, and Wu Jingtang, Director of the Dalian Branch.

Yang Yinzhang, Director of the Hangzhou Branch, and Wang Xirong, Director of the Tianjin Branch, drew the first-prize winners.

     The grand prize was drawn by Xu Jingwei, Director of the Shanghai Branch, and Bu Fengchuan, Founding Partner of the Head Office.

After the prize draw concluded, lawyers from Huatai Headquarters eagerly showcased their talents, launching into spontaneous performances and passionately singing. As the evening banquet unfolded, glasses clinked and toasts were exchanged amid a lively atmosphere. Huatai family members shared heartfelt stories, fostered deeper understanding, envisioned a bright future, and embarked on a new chapter together—celebrating both Huatai Headquarters' annual conference and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Branch Office.
